Handcrafted beads can be used to make jewellery while the children are learning different types of skills. Stringing beads to make handmade jewellery helps the children with hand and eye coordination. The more they practice the quicker they can get at making handmade jewellery for different holidays.
The children can sort the plastic beads many ways such as by color, shape, and size while making jewellery. The children enjoy playing with the handcrafted beads and talking about the colors, textures, and shapes of the plastic beads while sitting at the tables. The handcrafted beads are placed in different sorting containers and the children count as they place the beads in their containers. Jewellery is a wonderful way to make handmade gifts special. As soon as all the colorful plastic beads are sorted, the children all receive a plastic lace to get them ready to make handmade jewellery. The children pick what colors and shapes they want to start their handmade jewellery with and then they are told that they need to layout a pattern on the table before placing the plastic beads on the plastic lace. The children talk amongst each other while figuring out how they want their pattern to look to make their jewellery.
