Noynoy mental health Alert

The victors write history – this is an age old saying that still has relevance nowadays. Little is known about the paternal grandfather of Noynoy. Noynoy’s full name is Benigno Aquino III, and the names of his father and grandfather are Benigno Aquino Jr. and Benigno Aquino Sr., respectively. Contrary to common knowledge that Aquino Jr. started his political career due to a societal marriage with a Cojuanco heiress, the Aquino family’s political dynasty started in 1919 when Aquino Sr. was elected member of the Philippine Legislature. Unlike many Filipino and Filipino-Spanish politicians during that time, Aquino Sr. political career extended well into the Japanese Era. He was the first Vice-President of Laurel or the Puppet leader during the Japanese occupation. Prior to the establishment of the Puppet Government, he served as chairman of the KALIPABI (Kapisanan ng Paglilingkod sa Bagong Pilipino) or the Organization in the Service of the New Philippines. While the party’s name sound good, it is however the sole party which followed orders from the Japanese. This time in our history is characterized by summary executions (the Zonas), massive oppression, comfort women (sex slaves) and the infamous Death March. After the fall of the Japanese Regime, Aquino Sr. fled to Japan, was later arrested, and jailed in Sugamo prison. He was later brought back to the Philippines to face treason charges. Sadly, he died before the case was finished.

Our elementary history text books are devoid of any historical notations about the Japanese collaboration of Noynoy’s grandfather. Noynoy for one never condemned his family’s past nor issued a statement explaining it. Worse, while the Japanese government some decades ago asked for forgiveness for their war crimes, the Filipino collaborators and their descendants never made the same declaration. Their plunders and crimes are mentioned in a few sentences in our history text books, and most are directed against Laurel and Vargas.

This reminds me of the deafening silence surrounding the Noynoy Psycho Test. Liberal supporters in the mainstream media were quick to dismiss the test paper as mere fabrications. Well, the Aquino’s are good with the art of cover-up. Corazon Aquino’s administration removed all hints in the elementary text books which may ruin her in-law’s reputation. Stories about Aquino Sr.’s Japanese collaborations were intentionally omitted or plainly ignored by the text book writers so as not to offend the popular Mrs. Aquino. Now, history is repeating itself with the constant lies that the Noynoy Medical Records are fabrications. Medical experts are in agreement that the documents are real and first-year medical students would recognize that the case report is written by a psychiatrist. The Aquinos almost successfully hid their patriarch’s crime. We should not allow them to hide their new blunder – Noynoy mental health.
